Important acknowledgment
GigPaybook is a recordkeeping and estimation tool. It does not provide tax, accounting, legal, employment, insurance, or financial advice. Tax estimates, mileage deductions, profit figures, reminders, and reports may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing entries, keeping original supporting records, determining tax obligations, and consulting qualified professionals.
Your records and account
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your account, use the service lawfully, and maintain your own backups. You retain ownership of your business records and grant GigPaybook permission to store and process them only to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. Do not upload unlawful material or sensitive information that is unnecessary for gig recordkeeping.
Payments and third parties
Payment status and reminders are informational. Venmo and any other payment or calendar service are independent third parties with their own terms and privacy practices. GigPaybook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those services, payment disputes, fees, chargebacks, taxes, availability, or transfer timing.
Receipts and record retention
Uploaded receipts are convenience copies and are not guaranteed to satisfy an auditor or other authority. Keep originals and independent backups. The IRS advises businesses to maintain records supporting income and expenses; you remain responsible for retention and substantiation.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, tax results, profitability, data recovery, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigPaybook and its owner are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Any direct liability is limited to fees you paid for the service during the prior 12 months. Some jurisdictions may not allow every limitation.
Privacy notice
GigPaybook collects account identity information, business records, settings, uploaded receipts, and basic technical information needed to provide and secure the service. Data may be processed by hosting, authentication, storage, and payment-link providers. GigPaybook does not sell user business records. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to prevent abuse, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is perfectly secure. Contact kramerwelkermusic@gmail.com for access, correction, deletion, privacy, or support requests.
Changes, termination, and disputes
Features and terms may change. Material changes will require a new acknowledgment. Access may be suspended for abuse, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Before commercial launch, this section should be updated by counsel with your legal business name, address, governing law, dispute process, subscription cancellation, and refund policy.
